Transparency Measurement
The
transparency level of an item is defined by its use. For instance,
grocery bags should be translucent and diffuse light, whereas food
product packaging should be clear and transparent. To achieve
these results different raw materials are selected and processed under
certain conditions.
With transparency measurement, industry professionals have the ability to accurately define the clarity or see-through quality of the product. Quantifying a visual perception of the haze measurement with objective data is essential. Total transmittance, transmission haze, and clarity can be measured with the haze-gard plus.
